The Weight Loss Plan is medically supervised for safe and effective weight loss. It focuses on teaching you how to eat to lose weight and how to eat to maintain your weight. This healthy eating plan will help reset your metabolism, lose fat, and preserve muscle. Specifically, we design a healthy eating plan tailored for you that is affordable, while providing you with exceptional service, support, and education.
These plans also work well with individuals who have diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Your diet will consist of predominantly/all whole foods you purchase at the grocery store. You are welcome to include some of our protein foods though you do not have to.

Because this is a medically-supervised plan, the cost of our program could be reimbursed through your health insurance or Flexible Spending/Health Savings Account. You may need a letter of medical necessity from your doctor before your appointment. Your insurance may also have rewards that are available to you. Contact your provider for more information.

In addition to our Weight Loss Plan, we also have an Enhanced Weight Loss Plan which is designed to aid in behavior modification, as well as weight loss. You will be taught how to break the inappropriate links between eating and events other than physiologic hunger. Since behavior change is the cornerstone to successful weight loss, this will teach you what conditions trigger unhealthy behaviors (e.g. eating high fat foods, not exercising), how to institute new healthy behaviors and how to use rewards to help assure healthy behaviors persist. Strategies for effectively coping with a variety of high-risk situations will also be provided.

Our goal is to help people achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Most importantly, we teach you how to keep the weight off once you lose it. With that in mind, clients are encouraged to sign up for the Weight Maintenance Plan because that’s where you learn how to keep the weight off you’ve lost. During each session we will cover a behavioral component that you can apply that day!

We can provide you with a superbill, which is a receipt of the services that have been provided. Then, you can submit this superbill to your insurance company to (potentially) get reimbursed for our services. Your insurance may also have rewards that are available to you. Contact your provider for more details to see if nutritional counseling/medical nutrition therapy services are covered.
Additionally, you may be able to use your flexible spending/health savings card towards these services. You may need a letter of medical necessity from your doctor before your appointment.
